Well, I've posted the final dimensional schematics from the 1966 Ford Truck Body Builders Layout Book. All schematics that pertain to the F-series light-duty trucks are now online at FORDification .info in hi-resolution:

http://www.fordification.info/tech/bodybuilder.htm

I also posted another hi-res wiring diagram composite from this book to the '66 Wiring Diagrams page:

http://www.fordification.info/tech/wiring_66.htm

This diagram was scanned and posted in grayscale after a lot of clean-up in Photoshop, and I'm now thinking I might go the extra mile to give this one a more professional appearance, perhaps even color-coding all the wires. Once it's completed I'll replace the grayscale version with the improved colorized version.

I hope this collection of dimensional schematics and wiring diagrams will serve the Slick community for years to come. :)

The winner i will announce on Sunday and I will message you , and I will need your mailing address to send you your prize of 5 random vinyl decals pertaining to Fords or automotive in general , as I make them for a side venture and thought I could bring a game to our group.

So so throw out a number and see if you win ! Good luck everyone.

I'm glad to see a group that doesn't care what you're running for an engine. I also think its more important that its on the road, than what motivates it. Here is my '56 F-100. Running a new GM Performance HO454, into a TH400 and a Ford 9" with 2.75 posi. Heads are from a '72 402, all new internals with hardened seats, and an Erson 214°/226° @ .050" Lift .550 roller cam, with ProForm roller rockers. Topped off with a 650cfm Quick Fuel carb.

Edited to add: I'm in Wisconsin and have had the truck 31+ years.

This 1961 Ford Truck Job Selector brochure is the newest addition to the FORDification Factory Literature Library. This 20-page brochure is printed on very heavy paper stock and included a spinner wheel on the front cover, permitting you to choose the type of business a prospective buyer would have which would direct you to the tab which included factory recommendations on the truck best suited for your needs along with specifications for that model. This brochure covers the entire line of Ford trucks, including Falcon Ranchero, Econoline vans, and both F- and P-series trucks. That last two pages include basic specifications for all light, medium and heavy-duty trucks.

The light-duty F-series trucks are included on Pages 8 thru 15.

Dennis Carpenter Ford Parts proved once again why their their one of best — Ford Merc TRUCKS Unlimited 17 79

Dennis Carpenter Ford Parts proved once again why their their one of best. (My Opinion) I ordered a Rubber Floor Mat for my '62 which was a 3 on the tree model. Unfortunately what I got sent was a mat for a 4-spd Truck with the big hump. So I check out the invoice and the box both had correct part numbers. Which led me to believe this was a Monday-Friday part. If you don't know what a Monday/Friday part is you haven't worked on cars long enough. Anyway called Dennis this morning explained my problem was told their going investigate this problem. At 2:00 I get a email stating the right mat is on its way and to repackage the wrong part and throw on porch Monday for pick-up. I call THAT service. By the way them are some sweet looking Mats

I am working on replacing my floorboards in my 68 f250. I want to keep my cab mounts in place and replace everything else. I have new floorboards from LMC. Does anyone have any advise for me? I am 18 and have always done mechanical repairs before and I am not very good at sheet metal work. My windshield was broken and the heater core had been leaking for 30 years when I got the truck, so it was pretty well gone. I am trying to restore it and have converted to 4x4 and it is powered by a 6.9 idi diesel from a 85 f250 and a 5 speed manual.
